New important Announcement Regarding the Transport and Placement of Exhibits at the 30th AGROTICA

Dear exhibitors,

In line with our commitment to providing continuous updates to facilitate the participation of exhibitors and visitors in the leading exhibition event for the agricultural economy in the Balkans, the 30th Agrotica, which is set to open its doors from February 1st to 4th, 2024, we would like to inform you of the following new announcement from the Traffic Department of Thessaloniki:

Starting from today, January 24th until January 31st, and during the hours from 09:00 to 12:00, the passage of trucks for the transportation of exhibits within the limits of the Municipality of Thessaloniki is allowed on the following routes:

  1. Monastiriou Av. – Egnatia Av. – Exhibition Center of HELEXPO
  2. 26th October Str. – Karatasiou Str. – Kountouriotou Str.- Nikis Av. – Nikolaou Germanou Str. – Exhibition Center of HELEXPO

 

It is noted that the trucks must bear the labeling “HELEXPO-AGROTICA 2024”, and prior coordination with the Traffic Department of Thessaloniki is required.

Additionally, please be reminded that:

  1. For trucks transporting exhibits, there is a strong recommendation for movement on the weekend of January 27th-28th.
  2. For truck movement on weekdays (Monday to Friday), a strong recommendation is in place for this to take place during nighttime and early morning hours: 22:00 – 06:00.
  3. The Thessaloniki International Exhibition and Conference Center will be open 24 hours a day until Wednesday, January 31st.

Due to the special conditions affecting vehicle traffic in the city of Thessaloniki, primarily due to the construction works of the so-called “FlyOver,” and with the aim of facilitating the smooth transportation and placement of exhibits, as well as the convenience of the city’s residents, the organizer HELEXPO, in collaboration with the Traffic Department of Thessaloniki and local authorities, will keep the interested public informed through continuous announcements.
